Clifford N. Gruver

Clifford N. Gruver, 84, died Dec. 19, 2021, at SunPorch in Dodge City.

He was born on April 23, 1937, in Hays, the son of George and Opal (French) Gruver.

A resident of Dodge City since 2019, moving from Topeka, he was a retired agronomist.

He was a member of the Topeka Bible Church in and the Church of the Nazarene, Dodge City.

On August 11, 1962, he married Patty Jean Landon in Dighton. She survives.

Other survivors include his daughter, Shala Oxley and husband, Mark, Casper, Wyo.; son, Sean Gruver and wife, Stephanie, Dodge City; brothers, Alan Gruver and wife, Debbie, and Stan Gruver and wife, Pam, Scott City; sister, LaDonna Antenen and husband, Alan, Wichita; five grandchildren, Michael Gruver, Dodge City, Sarah Gruver, Franklin, Nebr., Alex Gruver and wife, Carmela, Dodge City, Serenity Gruver, Dodge City, and Joshua Oxley, Casper, Wyo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant sister.

A memorial service will be held on Tues., Dec. 28, at the United Methodist Church, Scott City, with Pastor Steve Payne presiding. The funeral service will be live-streamed at www.priceandsons. com.

There will be no calling times.
