Cloy Logan
Cloy Wallace Logan, 87, died July 11, 2024, at Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City.
He was born on Oct. 4, 1936, in Scott City, the son of Clyde and Adlee (Wallace) Logan.
A resident of the Pence Community in Scott County for over 60 years, he was a lifelong farmer and cattleman in Scott and Wichita counties and a seed salesman for over 30 years for Pioneer Seed Company.
Cloy attended the Pence Community Church, Anthem Masonic Lodge No. 284, and Shriners, both of Scott City, and served on the Scott County ASCS committee board and USD 466 board of education.
On Oct. 14, 1961, he married Leona Marie Hanzlick in Scott City. She survives.
Other survivors include his sons, Calvin Logan and wife, Leyla, Broomfield, Colo., Kyle Logan and wife, Hilary, Hays, and Kurt Logan, Scott City; a sister, Judy Rokowski, Wilmington, Del.; a brother, Leon Logan and wife, Joyce, Lenexa; grandchildren, Blake and Megan Logan, Westminster, Colo., Chloe Logan, Hays, Thomas and Diana Logan, Pine Bluffs, Wyo., Karlee and Daniel Hair, Brownell, and Kylee Logan, Scott City; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Duane; and one daughter-in-law, Ashlee.
The funeral service was held July 15 at the First Baptist Church, Scott City, with Don Williams presiding.
Interment was in the Scott County Cemetery.
