Craig Miller

Craig L. Miller, 72, died on October 13, 2025, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City.

He was born on Nov. 3, 1952, in Scott City, the son of Delmer “Red” and Thelma (Barnett) Miller.

A lifetime resident of Scott City, he was the owner and operator of Miller’s Grain, Inc.

He was a member of the Lion’s Club, the Scott County Shriners Club, the Kansas City Saddle and Sirloin Club, and a lifetime member of the NRA.

Survivors include his two daughters, Andrea Tucker and husband, Layne, Scott City, and Ashlee Moses, Oakley; three grandsons, Austin and Justice Rios, Dighton, and Jake Moses, LaCrosse; one granddaughter, Hannah Tucker, Manhattan; one great-granddaughter, Lumi Rios, Dighton; two sisters, Cozette Buckner and husband, Van, Scott City; and Cynthia Lee Miller and Huxley Nixon, Kansas City, Mo.; and three nieces, Jennifer Turpin, Plano, Tex., Stephanie Turpin Brown, Frisco, Tex., and Cameron Turpin Valentine, Breckenridge, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Thurs., Oct. 16, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Price and Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City.

The funeral service will be held on Fri., Oct. 17, 2:00 p.m., at the Western Kansas Child Advocacy Center, Scott City, with Chuck Kirk presiding.
