Craig A. Smith

Craig A. Smith, 57, died Dec. 1, 2021, at his home in Scott City.

H e was born on Nov. 20, 1964, in Scott City, the son of Charles E. and Betty Lou (Morris) Smith.

A lifetime resident of Scott City he was a custom harvester.

In the early 1990s, he married Tonia Cockerill in Scott City. She died August 7, 2010, in Hays. He later married Carolyn Johnson in the late 1990s. She died Oct. 8, 2009, in Scott City.

Survivors include his son, Chance Smith, Scott City; three brothers, Mike Smith, Scott City, and Mark Smith and David Petty, both of Wichita; three sisters, Marla Malin and husband, Randy, Liberal, Rhonda Bauer and husband, Chuck, Pleasanton, and JoAnn McLemore, Grand Junction, Colo., one cousin, J.R. Smith and wife, Garee Geist, Scott City, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held Dec. 6 at Price and Sons Funeral Home in Scott City with Pastor Don Williams presiding.

Interment was in the Scott County Cemetery.
