Gary Wayne Allaman

Gary Wayne Allaman, 55, died at the Scott County Hospital on May 17, 2023.

He was born Sept. 6, 1967, in Goodland to John (Jack) and Mary Allaman.

Gary was raised in Wallace County with his older brother, Larry, and younger brother, Brian.

Following graduation from Sharon Springs High School in 1985, he moved to Scott City where he resided for the past 38 years.

Gary worked for the City of Scott City for two years and then for Fairleigh Feed Yards since 1997.

Gary enjoyed long motorcycle rides, as well as taking his family to the races and fishing trips. It was the time they spent together that will never be forgotten. Gary was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include one daughter, Shantel Allaman, and one son, Brayden Allaman, both of the home; two brothers, Larry Allaman, Atwood, and Brian Allaman and wife, Linda, Sharon Springs; one grandson, Cole Venegas, of the home; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

A memorial service was held May 22 at the First Baptist Church in Scott City with Don Williams presiding.

Inurnment was held on May 22 at the Fort Wallace Cemetery in Wallace.
