Hardy ‘Celebration’ is Jan. 25

Jean Patrice (Jeanie) Norman Hardy, 102, died Dec. 14, 2024, at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City.

She was born on March 11, 1922, in Scott City, the daughter of John Wesley Norman and Elsie Mae (Beamgard) Norman. Jean was a lifetime resident of Scott City.

She married Weston V. Hardy, Jr., on Oct. 19, 1940, in Dodge City. He died July 12, 2005, in Scott City.

Jean worked at Inland Utilities Company during World War II and for many years she was an administrative assistant with Fouquet and Associates, Inc. in Scott City.

A celebration of her life will be held on Sat., Jan. 25, 2:00 p.m., at the Community Christian Church, 1201 Jackson, Scott City.
