Irma Lois McDaniel

Irma Lois McDaniel, 89, died, July 9, 2022, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City.

She was born on June 4, 1933, in Lycan Colo., the daughter of Harvey Willis and Winnie Mae (Maris) Simpson.

She was a Scott City resident since 1951, moving from Hutchinson.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Scott City.

On May 14, 1952, she married Robert Anson McDaniel in Scott City. He died on May 25, 2016.

Survivors include three sons, Larry Robert McDaniel and wife, Kathy, Sharon Springs, Ross Edward McDaniel and partner, Kelly McCarty, Grand Junction, Colo., and Thomas Kent McDaniel and wife, Pam, Scott City; one daughter, Lois Kay Magie, Salina; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She is also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Richard; and one son-in-law, Cliff Magie.

The funeral service will be held on Fri., July 15, 10:00 a.m., at the First Baptist Church, Scott City, with pastor Don Williams presiding.

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery.
