Mark Weinmann

J. Mark Weinmann, 78, died September 7, 2026, at his home in Scott City.

He was born on August 20, 1948, in Atchison, the son of Carl John and Anna Marie (Derichs) Weinmann.

A resident of Scott City since 1950, having moved from Atchison, he was a retired truck driver.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Scott City, the NRA, and a past member of ABATE.

On July 3, 1971, he married Pamela S. Berning in Marienthal. She survives.

Other survivors include his sons, Jeremy Weinmann and Toni Palen, Scott City, Brock Weinmann, Hutchinson, and Nathan Weinmann, Scott City; a sister, Ann Kreutzer and husband, John, Castle Rock, Colo.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Weinmann.

There will be no calling times.

A memorial service will be held on Mon., September 14, 10:30 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Don Bedore presiding.

Inurnment will be in the Scott County Cemetery.
