Jackie Dwayne Ivey

Jackie Dwayne Ivey, 60, died Sept. 30, 2021, at the Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City.

He was born on Oct. 1, 1960, in Scott City, the son of Roy and Jessie Lee (Bell) Ivey.

A lifetime resident of Scott City, he was a truck driver for Seaboard Farms for 18 years.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his five children, Tony Ivey, Kennett, Mo., Lisa Ivey, Jessie Ivey and Elvis Ivey, all of Scott City, and Melisa Perez, Perry; five siblings, Bonnie Stewart, Elliott Mountain, Colo., Anthony Ivey, Grigston, Peggy Cooper, Ponca City, Okla., William Ivey, Grigston, and Betty Bailey, Scott City; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Jackie Ann Coberly and Amber Dawn Noland; one grandson; one sister, Ruby Latham; one bother, Richard Ivey; a grandparent, James Parsons; and a cousin, Tanner Cloyd.

A graveside service was held Oct. 4 at the Scott County Cemetery with Andrew Cordasco presiding.
