James Allen Russell

James Allen Russell, 58, died Dec. 11, 2021, in Kansas City, Mo.

H e was born the son of Paul E. and Norma Louis (Morrison) Russell on Sept. 28, 1963, in West Plains, Mo.

He enjoyed watching westerns on TV and loved to listen to old country music. He also enjoyed hunting when he was younger.

Survivors include daughters, Misti Russell, West Plains, Mo., and Jamie Manes, Boliver, Mo.; a sister, Janie Lara and husband, Shorty, Scott City; girlfriend, April Williams, West Plains, Mo.; nieces, nephews, cousins, two aunts and two sisters-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Danny, Bob, Lynn, and Jimmy; and one sister.

Funeral service was held on Dec. 18, 2021, at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Mo., with Brother Ronnie Wheeler presiding.

Burial was in the Jolliff Cemetery, Oregon County, Mo.
