Jana Williamson

Jana Sue Williamson, 86, Emporia, died on Dec. 28, 2024, at her home.

She was born on Oct. 17, 1938, in Sterling, the daughter of Marion and Juanita (Haen) Welch.

Jana was a secretary and office manager.

She married Kent E. Williamson on June 8, 1958, in St. John. He died on April 23, 2020, in Emporia.

She is survived by her daughters Keva Scheib and husband Robert, Emporia, Kim Romero and husband, Tim, Brighton, Colo., and Kala Sprecher and husband, Vance, Casper, Wyo.; grandchildren, Kelsey and Alex Gray, Cypress, Tex., Luke Clifton, Cypress, Tex., Brooke and Jeremiah Bouthillier, Olpe, Jessica and Jerrod Schumann, Emporia, Hunter and Misti Scheib, Owasso, Okla., Stephanie Sprecher and Paul Jeantete, Casper, Wyo., Meghan Ferguson, Casper, Wyo., and Kate Sprecher, Casper, Wyo.; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, one grandchild, and two great-grandchildren, as well as a brother and sister.

Cremation is planned with a graveside service in the summer of 2025, at the Fairview Park Cemetery in St. John, Ks.
