Janice Drohman

Janice Lillian Drohman, 84, died Aug. 24, 2023, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City.

She was born on April 12, 1939, in Dacono, Colo., the daughter of John and Lillian Francis (Greodrich) Knowski.

A resident of Scott City since 1958, moving from Dacono, she was a retired custom harvester.

She was a member of the Community Christian Church, Scott City.

On April 25, 1958, she married Dale D. Drohman in Longmont, Colo. He died on Feb. 25, 2001, in Scott City.

Survivors include her two sons, Larry Drohman and wife, Shauna, Garden City, and Justin Drohman and wife, Debbie, Scott City; daughter, Sheri Scott and husband, Don, Scott City; brother, Frank Knowski and wife, Carol, Milliken, Colo.; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Knowski, Arvada, Colo., and Illa Drohman, Wellington, Colo.; seven grandchildren, Jason Drohman, Garden City, Shad Drohman and wife, Stephanie, Loveland, Colo., Kiesha Zimmerman and husband, Chance, Scott City, Jake Drohman and wife, Liz, Scott City, Kiersten Atkinson and husband, Brett, Lubbock, Tex., Jess Drohman, Hays, and Jera VanDegrift and husband, Caleb, Scott City; 10 great-grandchildren, Kyra Drohman and Karter Drohman, Lincoln Drohman, Rylee Zimmerman and Reid Zimmerman, Kinze Drohman, Madi Drohman, Riggins Drohman, Jade Drohman and Kennedy Atkinson.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Jim Knowski; one sister, Mary Daum; and one brother-in-law, Acey Drohman.

The funeral service was held Aug. 28 at the Community Christian Church, Scott City, with Rev. Scott Wagner presiding.

Interment was in the Scott County Cemetery.
