John L. Buller

John L. Buller, 90, died, Dec. 3, 2021, at the Scott County Hospital, Scott City.

He was born on July 31, 1931, in Montezuma, the son of Henry and Eva (Schmidt) Buller.

In 1976, he moved to Malin, Ore., and lived and farmed there until 2000. In 2013, he moved to Scott City.

He was a member of the Merrill Baptist Church, Merrill, Ore., and was a past deacon in the church.

On Sept. 17, 1950, he married Norma Jean Unruh in Montezuma. She survives.

Other survivors include his sons, Sheldon Buller and wife, Kim, Scott City, and Jay Buller and wife, Cheryl, Malin, Ore.; daughter, Leslie Koehn and husband, Stan, Scott City; brother, Milton Buller and wife, Dee, Bucklin; sister, Darlene Jantz and husband, Gary, Greeley, Colo.; 12 grandchildren, 20 greatgrandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Franklin, Ervin, and Clayton; two sisters, Esther Koehn and Geneva Schmidt; and a niece, Kimma Clark.

The funeral service was held Dec. 9 at Price and Sons Funeral Home, Scott City, with Pastor Don Williams presiding.

Interment was in the Scott County Cemetery.
