Julia Luke

Julia Ann Luke, 82, died, Dec. 26, 2023, at her home in Scott City.

She was born on July 20, 1942, in Scott City, the daughter of Arthur Henry and Beuna June (Cook) Wiechman.

A lifetime resident of Scott City, Julia was a loving and inspirational wife, mother and friend.

She was a member of the Pence Community Church in Pence.

On May 27, 1967, she married Ashley Luke in Scott City. He survives.

Other survivors include her son, Shannon Luke and wife, Tanya, Scott City; daughter, Tina Mooney and husband, Curt, Castle Rock, Colo.; sisters, Reta McDaniel, Scott City, Delores Austin, of Oklahoma, and Linda McGuire, Hays; brother, Vance Wiechman, Scott City; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one twin sister, Judy Marie Wiechman.

Visitation will be Fri., Dec. 29, from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Price and Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City.

The funeral service will be held Sat., Dec. 30, 2:00 p.m., at the Pence Community Church with Pastor Don Williams presiding.

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery.
