Larry Binns

Larry Gene Binns, 67, died Nov. 13, 2023, at St Catherine Hospital, Garden City.

He was born on Jan. 21, 1956, in Mandan, N.D., the son of Jack and Mary Ann (Brau) Binns.

He grew up and attended schools in North Dakota and Garden City when the family moved there in 1968. He owned and operated Radiator City for over 50 years.

His girls will value the unconditional love he showed them. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman.

Survivors include his children, Kayla Lucas and husband, Ryan, Kerrie Solze and partner, Bryan Whatley, and Nicole Kiesel; siblings, Tonda Tabor and partner, Bob Ramos, Darrell Binns, and Jack Binns; aunt, Sister Annrené “Marline” Brau; nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Binns; nephew, Bobby Binns; sister- in-law, Brenda Binns; uncle, LaVern Brau; and other extended family.

A memorial service will be held on Sat., Nov. 18, 10:30 a.m., at Garnand Funeral Home, Garden City, with Von Hunn officiating. There will be no calling hours.
