Leroy Mai

Leroy Harold Mai, 87, died Aug. 14, 2023, at the Greeley County Hospital in Tribune.

He was born to Emanuel and Madeline (Bohl) Mai in Greeley County on Feb. 18, 1936. He was a lifelong member of the community.

On Oct. 25, 1976, he married Norma Jean Parker in Colorado Springs, Colo. She survives.

Other survivors include one daughter, Sheryl MacNair and husband, Michael, Jetmore; one son, Randall Mai, Manhattan; two sisters-in-law, Linda Gibson, Springfield, Colo., and Joyce Bozylinski and husband, Steve, Thousand Oaks, Calif.; five grandchildren, Shane MacNair and wife, Rashel, Ness City, Courtney Oswald and husband, Cody, Herington, Katherine Mai, Manhattan, Andrew MacNair and wife, Paige, Goddard, and Erin Delmar and husband, Shaun, Wichita; five great-grandchildren, Olivia Oswald, Kylee Delmar and Eric Delmar, Olivia and Amelia MacNair; nieces and nephews Clay and Donna Smith, Clint and Sena Smith, Lance and Susanne Smith, Jennifer and Jason Smart, Cari Smith, Leslie and Brian Fitzgerald; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Juanita Smith; one brother-in-law, Eldon Smith; and a niece, Shelly Smith.

A memorial service will be held on Sat., Aug. 26, 2:00 p.m., at the Assemblies of God Church in Tribune with Joe Reynolds presiding.

Interment will follow at the Greeley County Cemetery.
