Lori Rae Vasquez

Lori Rae Vasquez, 38, died, May 1, 2023, at her home in Scott City.

She was born on Sept. 28, 1984, in Scott City, the daughter of Howard W. and Jan (Fuller) Green.

A lifetime resident of Scott City, she was the activity director at Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City.

She was a member of the Pence Community Church, Teens For Christ, a 4-H leader, and a member of the Scott County Fair board.

On August 26, 2006, she married Eric C. Vasquez in Scott City. He survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Baylor R. and Barrett O.Vasquez, both of the home; her parents, Scott City; one sister, Brandy Stairs and husband, Tyson, Oklahoma City, Okla.; one brother, Wyatt Green, Scott City; father-in-law, Willie Vasquez, Pampa, Tex.; two brothers-in-law, T.J. Vasquez and wife, Shelbi, and Marcus Vasquez and wife, Laurel, both of Spearman, Tex.; one uncle, Jeff Fuller, Wallace; two aunts, Lee Ann Fellholter, Brewster, and Kris Green, Jacksonville, Fla.; and many friends and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Del Ray and Sharon Fuller, and Hubert and Jeanette Green; motherin- law, Melissa Vasquez; uncle-in-law, Regie Robertson; and grandparentsin- law, Reg and Jody Robertson.

The funeral service will be held on Fri., May 5, 2:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church, Scott City, with Don Williams presiding. The Vasquez family requests you wear your Vasquez Strong tshirt if you have one to the funeral.

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery.
