M. Lynn Pammenter

M. Lynn Pammenter, 81, died Oct. 30, 2024, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City.

He was born on Oct. 19, 1943, in Wichita, the son of Orville Henry and Lucena Marie (Branine) Pammenter.

He had been a resident of Scott City since 1946, moving from Cheney. He was a farmer.

Lynn was a member of the United Methodist Church, Scott City, and was a veteran of the Air National Guard.

On February 14, 1965, he married C. Sue Case in Scott City. She survives.

He is also survived by his sons, Kip Pammenter and wife, Stephanie, Leawood, and Taff Pammenter and wife, Karla, Garden City; daughter, Becky Wilkinson and husband, Brian, Wichita; six grandchildren, Jessica Pammenter, Hallie Wilkinson, Leah Wilkinson, Ava Pammenter, Jacob Pammenter and Annie Wilkinson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Lynnay and Steve Pammenter.

Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 4, from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Price and Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington Street, Scott City.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Scott City with the Rev. Jeff Goetzinger and Pastor Scott Parks presiding.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Friends of Lake Scott in care of Price and Sons Funeral Homes, Box 552, Scott City, Ks. 67871.

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery.
