Marilyn Mae Kendrick

Marilyn Mae Kendrick, 81, died, July 9, 2022, at Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City.

She was born on Nov. 3, 1940, in Boise, Ida., the daughter of Martin Earl and Mildred Jurldean (Hammond) Spellman.

She had been a resident of Scott City since her youth.

She was a member of Immanuel Southern Baptist Church, Scott City, and of Women on Mission.

On Oct. 5, 1958, she married E. Earl Kendrick in Scott City. He died on Jan. 25, 2021.

Survivors include one daughter, Annette Shultz and husband, Chris, Paola; one daughter-in-law, Kendra Kendrick, Scott City; one sister, Mary Lou Redfern and husband, Jim, Pueblo, Colo.; three brothers, Max McQuitty and wife, Jerri, Colorado Springs, Colo., Mike McQuitty and wife, Teresa, Pueblo, Colo., and Robert McQuitty and wife, Tracy, of Colorado; six grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Tommy; one son, Brett; and one grandson, Ryan.

Funeral service was held July 13 at Immanuel Southern Baptist Church in Scott City with pastor Chris Shultz presiding.

Interment was in the Scott County Cemetery.
