Marlene Annette Winter
Marlene Annette Winter, 57, died April 10, 2022, at home due to natural health complications, in Wichita.
She was born September 5, 1964, in Scott City, the youngest daughter of Raymond Dale Winter and Donna B. (Teeters) Winter.
She had been a resident of Wichita since the early 1980s when she married Brian Bacheldar. They later divorced. In 2007, Douglas Mattocks and her became companions. He survives.
Other survivors include her children, Catherine “Cayte” Armstrong and husband, Robert, Larned, Amy Prochaska and husband, Andrew, Kearney, Nebr., Meghan (Bacheldar) Bills, Wichita, and Eamon Bacheldar and partner, Ashley Glasses, Valley Center; her siblings, Peggy Unger, Scott City, Raymond Winter and wife, Gail, Amarillo, Tex., Denise Breitenbach and husband, Rick, Hot Springs, S.D., and Rachel Burdick Archer, Scott City; 13 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by her beloved two cats, Snoopy and Precious, and dog, Sadie.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was of the Christian faith.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Sat., May 7, 11:00 a.m., at the New Hope Church, 1400 George Washington Dr., Wichita, with Pastor Denny Bell presiding.
There will not be a public visitation. Family and close friends are welcome.
