Mary Ruth White
Mary Ruth White, 95, died Sept. 12, 2023, at Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City.
She was born on Oct. 22, 1927, in Scott County, the daughter of Paul and Pauline Gaschler. A lifetime resident of Scott City, she was a beautician and a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Altar Society, Scott City, and the VFW Auxiliary.
On April 20, 1949, she married Harold W. White in Marienthal. He died on June 5, 2019, in Scott City.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan Boulware and husband, Brad, Scott City; granddaughters, Brooke Johnson and husband, Noah, Sharon Springs, and Kadra Boulware, Wichita; and one great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
A vigil service was held Sept. 14 at the church.
A Celebration of Life will be held Fri., Sept. 15, 10:30 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Burial is at the Scott County Cemetery.
