Nate Lenny Ekhoff

Nate Lenny Ekhoff, 78, died, Sept. 25, 2023, at the Scott County Hospital, Scott City.

He was born in Syracuse on Feb. 14, 1945, the son of Walter and Berniece (Becker) Ekhoff.

A resident of Scott City since 2019, moving from Loveland, Colo., he was a master carpenter.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

On July 11, 2002, he married Nora Taber in Loveland, Colo. She died on Nov. 10, 2009.

Survivors include his sons, Dewayne Ekhoff and wife, Danielle, Moore, Okla., and Adam Ekhoff, Garden City; one brother, Neil Ekhoff and wife, Gwen, Loveland, Colo.; one sister, Dawn Davis and husband, Daniel, North Chesterfield, Va.; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Nels and Niles Ekhoff; and one sister, Ione Hughan A memorial service will be held on Sat., Sept. 30, 4:30 p.m., at the Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune with pastor Jeri Farmer-Smith presiding.

There will be no calling times.

Inurnment will be in the Greeley County Cemetery.
