Nathella Ilene Jeffery

Nathella Ilene Jeffery, 86, died Feb. 21, 2022, at the Cedar Village Care Center, Ness City.

She was born on Dec. 16, 1935, in Black River Falls, Wisc., the daughter of Gay and Ilene (Rosenburger) McLaughlin.

Nathella was an administrative assistant for B and B Advertising in Scott City for over 40 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Scott City.

She married Jimmie L. Jeffery on March 24, 1956, in Merrillan, Wisc. He died March 6, 2018.

Survivors include two daughters, Jimalene Haddon and husband, Randy, Ellinwood, and Nathella Humburg and husband, Calvin, Ness City; a daughter-in-law, Shawn Jeffery, Victoria; sister, Mary Ingersoll and partner, Jim Cina, New London, Wisc.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Wade Jeffery; and sister, Barb Brown.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.

Memorial contributions may be given to the United Methodist Church of Scott City, Ks.
