Norma Jean Mulligan

Norma Jean Mulligan, 77, died Nov. 15, 2021, at her home in Scott City.

S h e was born on Nov. 17, 1943, in Lane County, the daughter of Paul LeRoy and Mary Olive (Hurst) Jewell.

She was a lifetime resident of Scott City until 1990 when she moved to Sallisaw, Okla. She lived there until 2012. She graduated from Fort Hays University with an associate degree.

She was a member of the AQHA, KWHA, Pink Lady and Scott County 4-H, along with being on the Scott County VIP Center board.

On Nov. 3, 1962, she married Kenneth Mulligan in Scott City. He died May 29, 2010, in Sallisaw, Okla.

Survivors include two sons, Brad Mulligan and partner, Bonnie Cusimano, Sallisaw, Okla., and Bryan Mulligan and wife,

Linda, Scott City; other son, Kyle Lausch and wife, Gina, Scott City; two granddaughters, Nicole Saulsbury and husband, Johnny, Monrovia, Md., and Kaelyn Burr, Sallisaw, Okla.; three grandsons, Clay Mulligan and wife, Emily, Scott City, Trace Mulligan, Dodge City, and Legend Mulligan, Sallisaw, Okla.; and six great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Brett Mulligan and Brent Mulligan.

A memorial service will be held Sat., Nov. 20, 2:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church, Scott City, with Pastor Kyle Evans presiding. The service will be live-streamed and can be seen by clicking the Livestream tab on the left side of the obituary at www.priceandsons.com starting at 1:55 p.m.

There will be no calling times.
