Robert Lee Shearmire

Robert Lee Shear-mire, 68, of Arkansas City, died September 10, 2021, at the Botkin Care and Rehabilitation Center, Wellington.

Robert was born May 13, 1953, in Scott City where he was raised by his grandparents and attended school.

On August 18, 1977, he married Julie Smith in Scott City where the couple made their home.

Robert was a bricklayer most of his life and did work for KanPak in Arkansas City from 2006 to 2013.

He is survived by his sons, Josiah Shearmire and wife, Tonya, and Kenneth Shearmire and significant other, Journi Merry; a daughter, Candice Shearmire; granddaughter, Siera Clark; and grandson, Gage Norris.

Robert was preceded in death by a grandson, Uriah Shearmire.

A memorial service is scheduled for Sat., September 18, 10:30 a.m., at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home in Arkansas City.
