Roland Evert Jenkins

Roland Evert Jenkins, 91, died on June 15, 2025, at the Scott County Hospital.

He was born on July 5, 1933, in Beaver, Okla., the son of Evert Wesley and Olive (Hagler) Jenkins.

Roland had been a resident of Scott City for 39 years, moving from Garden City in 1988. He was a loan officer for 37 years of his life.

He enjoyed woodworking and refinishing furniture in his free time.

On May 28, 1988, he married Diana Noll in Scott City. She survives Other survivors include his daughter, Teri Turner and husband, C. Ron, Scott City; son, Scott Noll and wife, Teresa, Scott City; brother, Rex Jenkins, Oklahoma City, Okla.; sisters, Elaine Jenkins, Santa Fe, N.M., and Innabelle Peters, Liberal; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Denise Jenkins; and sister, Carol Wilhite.

A memorial service will be held on Sat., June 28, 10:30 a.m., at Price and Sons Funeral Home, Scott City, with Rev. Jeff Goetzinger.

There will be no calling times.

Inurnment will be at the Scott County Cemetery.
