Selena Rose Quintana

Selena Rose Quintana, died Feb. 17, 2026, at the Hays Medical Center.

She was born on Feb. 17, 2026, at the Hays Medical Center to loving parents Gracie Ann Zapata and Juan Daniel Quintana.

Survivors include the parents, of Scott City; sisters, Aria Smith, Avery Smith and Valerie Quintana, all of Scott City; maternal grandparents, Maria and Joe Zapata, Scott City; paternal grandmother, Adriana Amezcua, Scott City; maternal greatgrandmother, Juanita Zapata, Robs-town, Tex.; paternal great-grandparents, Juanita and Ramon Amezcua, Shallow Water; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by Frank and Maria Leal, Jacob Ortiz, Billy Leal, Amber Warren and Johnny Leal.

Visitation will be Friday, Feb 27, 5:00-8:00 p.m., at Price and Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington Street, Scott City.

The funeral service will be held Sat., Feb. 28, 10:30 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City with Fr. Don Bedore presiding.

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery.
