Shannon Rose Winderlin

Shannon Rose Winderlin, 24, died Sept. 17, 2021, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, in the presence of her family.

She was born on June 18, 1997, in Garden City, the daughter of Chris and Letha (Parsons) Winderlin.

Shannon was a lifelong resident of Scott City and a graduate of Scott Community High School.

Shannon brought endless joy with her contagious laugh and smile. Despite Shannon’s disability, she found happiness in the simple things in life, the joy of seeing a loved one, her favorite movies and TV shows, animals, flowers and countless others.

She showed so much love without ever saying a word. Shannon was a blessing to those who had the privilege to know her, and she impacted numerous lives with her evershining personality.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Scott City.

Survivors include her parents, Scott City; two sisters, Paige and Kameron, both of Scott City; a brother, Brandon, Scott City; grandparents, Bob and Judy Winderlin, Scott City, and Marilyn Parsons, Leavenworth; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a grandparent James Parsons, and cousin Tanner Cloyd.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Price and Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City.

Vigil service will be held Mon., Sept. 27, 7:00 p.m., at the St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Fr. Warren Stecklein presiding. Service will be streamed live at www. priceandsons.com. Click the live stream tab on the left side of the obituary or click on LIVESTREAM” starting at 9:55 a.m.
