Sheila J. Palkowitsh

Shelia J. Palkowitsh died on October 28, 2024, at her home in El Dorado surrounded by family.

Sheila’s life began on July 26, 1944, in Great Bend, the daughter of William and Mary (Brown) Hutchings.

She graduated from Scott Community High School. Sheila worked hard for her family and retired from Beech Aircraft as an administrative assistant.

She loved spending her time sewing and finding treasures while shopping. She loved her weenie dogs and tending to her rosebushes and flowers. Her great joy was her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

Sheila’s family includes her children, Kevin Palkowitsh and wife, Mona, Haysville, and Kolleen Griffin and husband, Tom, El Dorado; grandchildren, Clayton Griffin, Lauren Jones and husband, John, Bradley Griffin and wife, Becca, Brendon Griffin, and Breanna Hilton and husband, Andrew; great-grandchildren, Corbin, Aubree, Aaron, Caydin, Halen, Westin, Trystan, Rylan and Mycah.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bradley Palkowitsh; daughter, Brenda Mosier; and grandchildren, Chandria Mosier and Andrew Palkowitsh.

The funeral service was held on October 31 at Carlson Funeral Home.
