Sonya Teress Ullom

Sonya Teress Ullom, 59, died Sept. 3, 2021, at the LeConte Medical Center, Sevierville, Tenn.

S h e was born on August 28, 1962, in Denver, Colo., the daughter of Donald T. and Leta M. (Hall) Akins.

She was a resident of Sevierville, Tenn., since 1999, moving from Garden City. She was an urgent care receptionist and worked in medical records for over 30 years.

On Dec. 16, 1999, she married Gary Willson in Sevierville, Tenn. He survives.

Other survivors include one son, Jonas L. Ullom, Dodge City; one step-son, Jared Willson, Sevierville, Tenn; one step-daughter, Jennifer Jones, Oak Ridge, Tenn.; one sister, Wanita Lickteig, Greenville, Wisc. and 12 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Gale Akins; and one nephew, Stephen Akins.

Memorial service will be held Sat., Sept. 25, 2:00 p.m., at Price and Sons Funeral Home, Scott City, with A.J. Jones presiding.

Inurnment will be in the Scott County Cemetery.
