Sue Cogswell

Sue Cogswell, 84, died Feb. 18, 2024, at Nathan Abelson Hospice, Las Vegas, Nev.

She was born in Nevada, Mo., on April 12, 1939.

When she was 10-years-old, her family moved to Goodland and a few years later returned to Scott City where they owned the Firestone store.

After graduating from Scott Community High School, she attended the University of Kansas and studied a year abroad in Paris. She graduated in 1961, with a bachelors degree in communications.

After marrying Robert Crowe, they moved to New Jersey and later moved to Coronado, Calif.

Janet was a member of the Coronado Republican Women’s Club.

She married John Cogswell in September 2016. They lived in Buena Vista, Colo., and near Saratoga, Wyo. He survives.

She is also survived by her son, Robert Crowe, Jr., and wife, Cyndi; daughter, Whitney Kreger; sister, Barbara Rieb; and granddaughter, Carleigh.
