Vivian Lucille Collamore

Vivian Lucille Collamore, 92, died March 24, 2022, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City.

S h e was born Aug. 17, 1929, to Floyd and Hazel (McKelvey) Woodside in Cozad, Nebr.

Vivian had been a resident of Scott City since 1949, moving from Cozad.

She married Vernon Collamore on Dec. 25, 1947, in Cozad. He died Jan. 6, 1997, in Scott City.

Vivian worked for the USD 466 (Scott County) school district in food services for 16 years. She was a member of the Community Christian Church.

Survivors include her children, Vicky White, Knoxville, Tenn., Vincent Collamore and wife, Aleece, Waxahachie, Tex., Velinda Mills, Amarillo, Tex., and Vance Collamore and wife, Lisa, Scott City; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Virginia; grandson, John William White; son-in-law, Myron Mills; and great-grandson Matthew White.

The funeral service was held on March 30 at the Community Christian Church, Scott City, with Pastor Scott Wagner and Ron Hess presiding.

Interment was in the Scott County Cemetery.
