With a rare opportunity to compete under ideal conditions, Wichita County’s Tristen Porter responded with a school record of 13-feet-11 in the pole vault during his home invitational on Monday.
With a rare opportunity to compete under ideal conditions, Wichita County’s Tristen Porter responded with a school record of 13-feet-11 in the pole vault during his home invitational on Monday.
While the home courts will help, the Scott Community High School boy’s would still be favored to win the Great West Activities Conference and Class 3-2-1A regional tournaments that will be played in Scott City next week.
It’s not just what the Scott Community High School girls can do at the plate which has allowed them to remain undefeated this season. It’s also the pressure they put on opposing defenses when they get on the base paths.
The bottom half of the lineup hasn’t been real productive for the Scott Community High School boys throughout most of the season, but that may be changing.
