Emily Weathers and Harrison King, both of Scott City, were named to the spring honor roll at Emporia State University.
The young audience that filled the meeting room at the Scott County Library may have never seen or heard an accordion before, but that didn’t prevent them from enjoying the lively music provided by Mike Schneider.
Having completed a dissertation that explores the connection between university faculty engagement with their students and early burnout, Dustin Turley graduated earlier this spring with a doctorate degree from Northcentral University, San Diego, Calif.
Dancers for Susan’s School of Dance in Dighton competed in the “I Love Dance” competition held in Wichita. They competed in tap, jazz and lyrical categories as well as student choreography.
