TOPEKA - Two-thirds of elected school boards responsible for the 25 largest public school districts in Kansas imposed some form of an indoor masking mandate in response to the spread of COVID-19.
Ten new classroom teachers have joined the staffs at Scott Community High School and Scott City Middle School for the 2021-22 school year.
LAWRENCE - Fully vaccinated students on the Lawrence and Overland Park campuses of the University of Kansas will be eligible for drawings of the cash equivalent of a semester’s in-state undergraduate tuition, cash prizes of $5,000, special parking permits as well as football and basketball tickets.
