ABC ready with another sitcom

With the decision earlier this week by ABC Entertainment to cancel the “Roseanne” show following a racist tweet by Roseanne Barr, network executives are scrambling to find another hit as a replacement.

“We need a show that will appeal to the same demographics,” said a top ABC executive during an emergency meeting of the entertainment division.

“We need someone who can appeal to people who don’t want to think they’re racists, but want to blame their troubles on the government, illegal immigrants and Muslims,” said the executive.
