Breaking silence: U.S. senators should have spoken up long ago

Two U.S. Senators have decided that remaining silent is no longer an option when dealing with President Trump.

Sen. Bob Corker was the first crack in the Republican Party’s wall of silence in dealing with this Administration when he described the White House as an “adult day care center.”

He followed those comments this week by declaring that Trump treats his office “like a reality show” and questioned his ability to lead in a diplomatic fashion.
