Will voters buy Kobach’s return to failed tax policy?

Kris Kobach’s decision to run for governor of Kansas is probably the least surprising thing to happen in politics during the past week. Kobach’s ambition and ego made such a move impossible to avoid. 

What’s surprising is that only two days after the Kansas Legislature overturned a veto by Gov. Sam Brownback, bringing an end to his failed tax policy and raising taxes by $1.2 billion, Kobach condemned the legislative action.
