Learning from Sam’s ‘legacy’
Gov. Sam Brownback’s departure from the statehouse to become a religious ambassador for the Trump Administration might seem a bit odd - like jumping from a tugboat to the Titanic . . . as it’s sinking.
Then again, perhaps Brownback figures that he’ll be far enough removed from the unfolding disaster in Washington, D.C., and best of all, he can wash his hands of the mess he’s leaving behind in Kansas.
With one foot already out the door, there is already discussion about the Brownback “legacy.”
