Living in a world of ‘fake news’
These are tough times for many of the nation’s big-city daily newspapers, and no less difficult for many smaller newspapers faced with a Main Street and older readers which are both disappearing.
Some are already writing our obituary.
There are some who liken us to the buggy whip in the era of Google, Facebook, Twitter and whatever other search engine or social network should appear on the horizon. Some would argue that repeated claims of “fake news” by President Trump are only hastening our demise.
