Marshall dodges tough questions
In the movie “Dodgeball,” it was the legendary Patches O’Houlihan who said the five d’s of the sport are dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge.
O’Houlihan is no match for Congressman Roger Marshall whose mastery of the dodgeball technique comes in handy when compensating for his lack of knowledge and depth in addressing constituent concerns.
In fact, Marshall goes out of his way to dodge real issues and defending the indefensible.
What Marshall fails to grasp is that a listening tour is a two-way street. It’s an opportunity for the Congressman to hear the concerns of his constituents. It’s also an opportunity for constituents to hear how a Congressman plans to deal with those concerns.
Marshall was seemingly unaware that undocumented individuals couldn’t get driver’s licenses.
