Taking a final look back at 2019

As we take a moment to reflect on 2019 we can officially acknowledge the past year established a new benchmark in what has become acceptable behavior for the president of the United States - proving beyond doubt that the job was too big for George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

Following are a few of the moments that made the final year of the decade so memorable.

Carrying a doctor’s note saying that his bone spurs had been miraculously healed, Trump finally goes to Vietnam for a second summit with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un.

“If I’d have known Vietnam would be like this I’d have come here 50 years ago. I don’t know why it was such a big deal,” said Trump. “I think this just confirms what kind of a wimp John McCain really was.”
