Party of ideas: Only one political party is working for Americans

It’s understandable why the Republican Party is so opposed to the teaching of history. Based on what is already known about the involvement of Republican lawmakers in the events leading up to and since the January 6 insurrection, the continued resistance of Republicans to respond to subpoenas and even the Republican National Committee’s resistance to cooperate, it would appear they already know that their efforts to overthrow a legitimate election won’t look good in history books - provided our nation can survive this ongoing attack on democracy.
