‘29 Model A delivery truck brings back memories

Restoring an older vehicle is something that Al Cook has always wanted to do.
A 1929 Ford Model A delivery truck fulfilled that ambition for the longtime Dighton resident.
“I went to an auction and I was pretty intent on bringing something home,” says Cook. “I had a Model A when I was in school, so I’m familiar with them. I had an idea where to start.”
Cook purchased the truck in Hutchinson about three years ago and hauled it home.
“The gentleman who had it was unable to complete the pickup, so I finished it,” he said.
