High Plains club has lesson on activities at Scott City Airport
The High Plains Study Club met on March 7 at the Spencer Flight and Education Center at the Scott City Airport.
Susie Gooden was the hostess and the co-hostess was Kari Unruh.
The program was given by Ben McNary on “Airport Happenings.”
McNary, who has been airport manager since January 2016, says they have 30 planes and four regular employees at the airport.
The airport has 8,000 annual operations. They now have new T-hangars and also a Frontier Ag Sprayer hangar.
They conducted a program called “Young Eagles” for kids eight to 18 years for which they give pilot lessons.
