High Plains Study Club donates to local groups
The High Plains Study Club met at the home of Kami Rosin for the last meeting of the year.
A brunch was served by the social committee consisting of Sue Pammenter, Janice Storm, Dorothy Hutchins and Kami Rosin.
President Cozette Buckner opened the meeting by leading the club collect, followed by the flag salute.
Twenty-two members answered roll to, “Your favorite program this year.”
Ann Hawkins, treasurer, reported the finance committee had met and recommended donations to each of the following groups: Scott County Library, Ministerial Alliance Breadbasket, Stepping Up, City on a Hill, Western Kansas Child Advocacy Center and the Scott County Historical Society.
