Police chief tells of ALICE program to High Plains club

The High Plains Study Club met Feb. 1 at the home of Dorothy Hutchins. Marilyn Dryer was the co-hostess.

The meeting was opened with the devotion on “God is our 911 Dispatcher.”

Scott City Police Chief Chris Jurgens gave the lesson on the ALICE program. This is a plan of action when confronted with an intruder or active shooter in any public place or in a home.
