When eighth grader Drake Metzger went to the sideline with a knee injury midway into the second quarter, it appeared that most of the Scott City Middle School offense might also be sidelined.
With Brogan Dirks and Drake Metzger combining for 133 rushing yards, the Scott City Middle School eighth graders were able to grind down the clock with their running attack in a 20-0 win over Cimarron on the home field last Thursday.
