First vaccines arrive at Scott County Hospital
Dr. Libby Hineman said she could hardly sleep last Wednesday night in anticipation of the first COVID-19 vaccine doses being administered at the Scott County Hospital.
“This is the beginning of the end,” said Hineman, whose grin was evident even behind a face mask.
Dr. Hineman, who is also the county health officer, and Dr. Chris Cupp were given the first of 35 vaccine doses which were made available to local hospital staff last Thursday afternoon.
