$25M USD bond vote is Tuesday

A $25 million bond issue that will include new construction and renovation projects throughout USD 466 (Scott County) will be on the ballot when voters go to the polls on Tuesday.

Three priorities included in the project are additional classroom space, tornado safety and campus security.

If approved, the bond issue will add just under four mills to the local tax levy.

Scott City Middle School and Scott City Elementary School will see the lion’s share of renovations and new construction to accommodate larger class sizes.
